Some of our fundraising events include:

  • selling raffle tickets
  • selling coupon booklets
  • bi-annual garage sales
  • car washes

In June 2008 we had our first annual Handy-man Challenge! It took place at Campbell River Common.

Several local companies donated building supplies and sponsored the projects. The main items built were garden/storage sheds. Then six teams of people volunteered to build the sheds. There were also doghouses built, a kids build inside the mall , and a silent auction of various goods and services donated by local companies.
After the sheds were completed, they were auctioned off with all money raised going to the society.
This was our first year and we raised almost $17 000!
